Closing an agent terminal does not delete the session, but finding it again usually means remembering the right flag and the right identifier: `claude --resume` plus a session id for Claude Code, and a different flag for each other agent. Paneflow surfaces the sessions tied to your current project and resumes any of them in one click.

## Sessions scoped to the right project [#sessions-scoped-to-the-right-project]

Paneflow detects the [Claude Code](https://claude.com/claude-code), [Codex](https://github.com/openai/codex), and [OpenCode](https://github.com/sst/opencode) sessions associated with your active working directory. They are grouped by agent, with nothing mixed in from your other projects.

Pick a session and Paneflow resumes it in the current pane, history intact.

## Come back to a task without starting over [#come-back-to-a-task-without-starting-over]

A session holds the exchanges, the decisions, and the plan you built with the agent. Being able to leave and return means you switch between tasks without losing that context or explaining everything from scratch.

Close a pane, restart Paneflow, or step away and come back later. The sessions you need are still there when you want them.

## Start your next session in Paneflow [#start-your-next-session-in-paneflow]

Agent sessions ship in Paneflow 0.3.6, the same release as the [Files sidebar](/blog/files-sidebar). Download the latest build, run an agent inside a project, and find its session waiting for you in Paneflow.
